Mpatamacha Game Capture was started in 1996 when we still caught Blesbuck with motorcycles and nets.

Today we're a Professional and Successful Game Capture organization with more than 70 permanent staff members.

We specialize in the capture, sale and transport of all game nationwide, including Elephants, Rhino's, Buffalo's and Hippo's.

Mpatamacha uses a very unique method to capture game in that we make use of two complete boma's and game capture teams. This has been proved to be very effective and can easily be implemented on any size of property. This enables us to have 2 seperate teams capturing game on two different properties at the same time.
Our Management Team

The Business is managed and owned by Mr. Erich Venter and his 3 children, Kutu, Marietjie, and Jossie.

KUTU The architect behind our state of the art Gamepen's, Auction facilities and Wildlife Centre, is also in charge of all the Game Capturing.

Marietjie & Jossie is a more than capable team when it comes to the Marketing and Administration of Mpatamacha Game Capture. They are responsible for Quotations, Enquiries, Sales and Game Auctions that are held monthly. They're also responsible for all the arrangements to make every Auction as remarkable as the previous one.

 

Quintin Riechert
Who has been part of the team since 2000 , is our right hand man and in charge of one of the game capture teams. He assisted with the construction of our auction pen's and is also responsible for the transport and delivery of all the game sold at our auctions.

 

Lambert van der Westuizen
has flown exclusively for the wildlife capture industry for the last 6 years. Having worked in the most experienced capture units in South Africa, Lambert has a wealth of knowledge in this field.

Lambert pilots a Hughes 300 which has proven reliability worldwide and rated as one of the safest helicopters for the purpose of game capture.
